John Carroll is the founder of Equity Therapy, a full-service psychotherapy private practice based in New York City serving the mental health needs of the performing arts community. Before becoming a therapist, John, a graduate of The Juilliard School, performed in such shows as Fosse, Movin' Out, Chicago, A Chorus Line, Women on the Verge of a Nervous Breakdown, Wicked and Follies.
Integrating clinical theory, mindfulness and yes, even humor, John help clients cultivate insight, self-acceptance, healthy boundaries, increased intimacy, and clarity of direction allowing depression, anxiety, and relationship problems to be relieved.
